Housecleaners save hours a week. Expensive? Give up something else. Think of it as a necessity. Over twenty-five years, I have gone from hiring friends who wanted some extra money to hiring cleaning companies, all giving me a feeling of extreme peace and tranquility while providing more free time for my family.

Cooking can take up to an hour each night, while a typical family dinner lasts much shorter. When time’s in a crunch, why are we spending our limited time cooking when we should be connecting? There are amazingly healthy resources out there for meal preparation.

One friend told me that when his kids were small, a chef came to his home each Sunday and cooked meals for the week. When my kids were young, I asked my daycare provider if she would double her dinner meals and sell half to me. There are always options if you get creative!
